Emmaus Road Bible Church exists to glorify and enjoy God by exalting Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We desire to be a church marked by reverent worship, faithful preaching of the Scriptures, earnest prayer, intentional discipleship, and loving mission in our community.

Our aim is not simply to gather a crowd, but to establish a faithful local church that helps people know Christ, walk in holiness, and live as joyful witnesses to the gospel.

What type of church are you?

ERBC is a Gospel-centered, missional, new church plant. Sent out by Mercy Hill Church in Yulee, Florida, and supported through the Southern Baptist Convention and the North American Mission Board, this church plant seeks to establish a faithful, joyful,
and enduring gospel witness in coastal Georgia.

We are a Baptist church that supports the Southern Baptist Convention.
This means that our statement of faith is the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 which in its entirety can be found
HERE.

ERBC is committed to clear and historic biblical convictions. Our theological confession is the Bethlehem Baptist Church Elder Affirmation of Faith, together with succinct statements concerning Christian Hedonism. We also adopt the Danvers Statement, the Chicago Statement, and the Nashville Statement as expressions of our convictions regarding biblical authority, biblical manhood and womanhood, marriage, and human sexuality.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

Core Values

01

Biblical Exposition

We are committed to preaching that exalts Jesus Christ, faithfully explains the Scriptures, and calls people to repentance, faith, worship, and obedience.

02

Biblical Authority

We believe the Bible is the final authority for all matters of faith and practice, and we desire every ministry, decision, and conviction of the church to be governed by God’s Word.

03

Qualified Leadership

We are committed to cultivating and recognizing biblically qualified leaders marked by sound doctrine, godly character, humility, and servant-hearted care for Christ’s church.
ERBC will be an elder-led, congregationally-informed church.

04

Christian Education

We seek to teach and disciple believers of every age so they may grow in theological understanding, spiritual maturity, and joyful faithfulness in everyday life.

05

Local & International Missions

We desire to proclaim the gospel in our own community and among the nations, equipping the church to live with evangelistic zeal and a heart for the spread of God’s glory throughout the world.
